The uniquely finished Fender Newporter Player grants intermediate and beginner players access to an electro-acoustic with a slimmer body than a dreadnought and a C-profile electric-guitar style maple neck. So, if you're more familiar with the neck of a Strat than an acoustic guitar, this model offers an incredibly manageable transition. The satin-gloss finish of the neck enhances the playing comfort even further while the smaller body shape sits snug against your body.

The Newporter Player: Wood and Resonance

The foundation of the body starts with a solid sitka spruce top supported by a mahogany back and sides to offer a rich acoustic sound with an extra layer of warmth and a response that gives excellent presence to your playing dynamics. The mounted NuBone saddle and nut are GraphTech-made and maintain the balance of the overall sound, which despite the dimensions of this guitar, packs more than enough volume and extra overtones. To amplify the sound of the Newport Player with consistent accuracy, Fender have fitted a Fishman preamp and under-saddle piezo pickup.
